    Default Change admin folder with upgraded V1.5.1

    My cart is upgraded from 1.39h to V1.5, and now V1.5.1.

    As the upgrade job was outsourced, I still find the old configure.php file in the admin/includes and includes/. I read that for V1.5 and newer, there is no need to edit the configure.php files, and just change the admin folder.

    The problem is the configure.php is still the same before, so how can I create a new V1.5 configure.php?

    The upgrading work was probably not as thorough, according to the recommended steps, but everything's working and there is no error, so I don't want to fix what's not broken, but I do like have that automatic feature.

    I change the admin folder once in a while, especially after sharing it with the the support team of my ISP, or host etc.

    Appreciate your help.

    If you have this in the yourSecretAdmin/includes/configure.php file around line 29, everything's probably fine.
    // NOTE: be sure to leave the trailing '/' at the end of these lines if you make changes!
    // * DIR_WS_* = Webserver directories (virtual/URL)
    // these paths are relative to top of your webspace ... (ie: under the public_html or httpdocs folder)
    $t1 = parse_url(HTTP_SERVER);$p1 = $t1['path'];$t2 = parse_url(HTTPS_SERVER);$p2 = $t2['path'];
    Otherwise there's no real difference between the old and new.

    Thank you Ajeh,

    I have edited 'mydomain.com' to reflect the actual domain:
    define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://mydomain.com);
    define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://mydomain.com);
    define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://mydomain.com');
    define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'https://mydomain.com');

    I also edited:
    define('DB_SERVER_USERNAME', 'username');
    define('DB_SERVER_PASSWORD', 'password');
    define('DB_DATABASE', 'database');

    It doesn't work, the login page is blank.

    Could you look in the directory:
    /logs

    and see what debug messages you are getting?

    Also, compare your two files, on the server, for:
    /includes/configure.php
    /your_secret_admin_dir/includes/configure.php

    and ensure that everything else matches up correctly ...

    Sorry, that means that the DB_SERVER, DB_SERVER_USERNAME, DB_SERVER_PASSWORD, and DB_DATABASE information are not ALL correct.
    Remember, the configure.php files are read-only so any changes you're trying to make to them can only be done after making the file writable first.
