Hello:
Is it possible to use several GV to pay for a single purchase? If so, how can I enable that option? I need to set up a sort of "lay-a-way" option and I thought this could be it. Thank you.

The customer could redeem as many Gift Certificates as they want ... the amount is added to their GV Balance ...
From there, they can then apply whatever amount that they want to their Order during the checkout ...

Thank you for your reply. I was under the impression that a GV code was needed at checkout time, and that each GV had a different code. If a customer has several GV, either purchased by him/her or received as gifts, how to enter a code to include a total for all GV's? Or how does the system exactly work? Thank you for your time and patience. Best regards.
If you have, for example, 3 GV Codes ...
On the checkout_payment page you will see:
Apply Amount:
Available balance: $XX.XX
Redemption Code
you can enter each GV Redemption code one by one and hit enter ... and the amounts with be placed in the Customer's GV account ...
Once all GV codes have been entered, the amount to apply to the order can be entered ...

Great! It works just as you said. Thank you very much for your time. Best regards.
You are most welcome ...
NOTE: you could try to customize the Order Total module for ot_gv.php and add a button there for Customer's that do not know to hit enter ...
