Changed host, templates no longer work

I have zen cart version 1.5.0 installed on my server. I am switching hosting companies (godaddy -> dreamhost) and have run into a little bit of trouble.

This is what I have done so far:

1.) Installed a fresh copy of zen cart 1.5.0 on dreamhost - All working fine
2.) Copied old database on godaddy
3.) Copied godaddy files to dreamhost (besides both configure.php files)
4.) Imported the old database to the already setup dreamhost database.

But now, when I go to my new site, the template is all screwy. I can login to my admin section, and that works fine, and when I select a template, it doesn't change anything in the front end. It's not loading the css files, js files, or anything template specific at all. However the backend of the site is all functioning 100%.

I really am stuck at this point and not sure what my next move should be. Anybody have some suggestions? They would be greatly appreciated.

That unfortunately is not my issue. I have dug a little deeper, and this is what I have found. My site is ONLY loading files from default_template, regardless of which template I have in the backend. So I added my css files to the default_template to test it, and boom, those files were loaded and the styling displayed. However, it still is an issue because something is broken as I can't change the template. Any thoughts with this new info? Thanks!

Did that include your template?

What files were those?
