Updating GV Admin Edit mod for 1.5?

I have a client who's using ZC 1.5 and needs the functionality of the GV Admin Edit mod. However, it hasn't been updated in quite some time. There doesn't seem to be a 1.5-compatible mod that does the same thing.

I've downloaded the mod and have managed to register the pages correctly, but the two main files contain a lot of _GETs, and I know they need to be assessed for security in order to completely upgrade the mod. I've installed and tested the mod locally, having updated the page registration but without changing the main files at all, and it seems to work fine. It doesn't display any errors or kick me back to index.php. Before I go uploading this to a live site, though, I wanted to check whether anyone's had a look at this mod and can tell me whether the main files are okay. I have browsed through some of the threads relating to _GETs and stuff but I'm not the best with that side of PHP.

I've sent a PM to the creator but I wanted to start a public thread too in the hopes of helping more people.

I haven't heard back from the creator, who doesn't seem to be active on the forum anymore.

Is anyone else using this mod on 1.5? Did you have to do anything to the _GETs?

Has anyone managed to change this mod to make it compatible with ZC1.5?
