New Product listing on Homepage displays all previous products

Hi,

I have tried a search to find an answer and can't seem to find a solution.

Basically, New Products for February (Homepage) as I understand it, should prioritise the new and latest Products that have been uploaded in February. My site continuously and forever seems to want to list all of my previous products as new for February. Gone right through my Admin section but don't know how to rectify this. Its always done this since Zencart was installed.

Have you changed your admin's Configuration->Maximum Values->New Product Listing - Limited to ... (it's towards the bottom of the list) to limit the timeframe that encompasses your definition of "new"?

Spend a couple of hours in the Admin Area every evening until you are familiar with what all the switches and settings do.

I have heard stories (one involving ME) where swathes of code was hacked and re-shaped over several hours - only to discover that the behaviour I was trying to control was a simple click in the admin panel.

Even if you're not familiar to-the-letter, give each category a good look so you have an idea of what's there. For the switch the OP was looking for, I knew it was there and it still took me about 15 minutes to hunt it down!
