Ive had my server running for 4 years without any issues. All of a sudden starting thursday I am getting intermittent issues with shipping and payment modules timing out trying to get shipping results or process credit cards. The Auth module was able to give me this error:
Comm results: 6 name lookup timed out
As mentioned the site has been working for years without issue and nothing was changed to cause this to suddenly happen. Ive spoken to the host company and verified no issues or changes to the server itself. As mentioned its intermittent so sometimes there are no issues but other times I get that error. Any ideas?
What about increasing the default CURL TIMEOUT in the Auth Module from 15 seconds to longer?
