create a link that shows all products from specific manufacturer

Is there a string or some kind of link I can create that will show all the products of a certain manufacturer? I want to have a page that lists all my designers and once its clicked it will show all the products from them.

If you activate the Manufacturers sidebox, clicking on a manufacturer's name in the dropdown will display all his/her products.

But how can you get the manufacturer's link without using the sidebox? Say for example when trying to create custom breadcrumbs that include the manufacturer. So far I am using <?php echo $manufacturers_name; ?> to pull the name, but no idea what "a href" to wrap around it...
