    Default Attribute defualt & sort order not displaying properly?

    I believe I have this set up correctly but it is not showing properly in product page

    Yes I have tried
    Update All Products' Attribute Sort Orders
    to match Option Value Default Sort Orders:

    You have all of your Attributes set as the DEFAULT except the:
    SELECT

    which should be the DEFAULT to force a proper selection and you have the:
    SELECT

    marked as:
    REQUIRED

    which is meant for TEXT Attributes when the input is REQUIRED and should not be allowed to be blank ...

    Start by changing:
    SELECT

    to be the DEFAULT (orange) and take the DEFAULT off all the other Attributes (should have an X on it) and take the:
    REQUIRED (red)

    off of the Attribute for:
    SELECT

    so it has the X for that setting ...

    From your image, I cannot tell the actual order that your Attributes are in other than that is probably showing as the DEFAULT as it is the "last" Attribute to be found marked as DEFAULT ...

    wow duh! so I had it all wrong the X means its Not the default when I had it marked X as the default
    so if I turn off the required Red it will force a choice other that the select?

    That Required Red icon is just meant for TEXT Attributes that Require an input from the customer ...

    The Attribute marked as:
    DEFAULT
    DISPLAY ONLY

    makes the customer have to chose another option to add to the cart or they will get a message saying they cannot using that choice and to pick one and will remain on the Product _info page ...
