How do I disable "out of stock"?

After searching through this forum, I did find out how to disable the showing of quantity of products. That worked great thanks.

Now, how do I disable the "out of stock" feature? My products are built to order and inventory or stock is irrelevant. For some of the products, if we have none on hand, we still need to take the order. A purchase order goes out, it's built and shipped.

Any help would be much appreciated!

To completely turn off the feature which makes products of "quantity 0" be unpurchasable, change the corresponding settings in Admin->Configuration->Stock
