In my case the orders that would be affected by the changes would be about 5 years old.

As you are keeping 3 of the default 4 Order Statuses, is there any real reason to toss the original order statuses vs just add your new order statuses?

Hi Ajey. Returned, Refunded, Ready For Collection, Customer Returning Item and Collected are no longer needed. It has been years since they were used and I find they are in the way. I run a busy small business and I find that small things can slow you down. I think that there should be a way of at least hiding these options (and un-hiding) would be a very usefull tool as if I decided that I needed more Order Statuses it will become even more scrappy than it is. The options that I added seemed like a good idea at the time and even worked ok for a while but they had their flaws and now are defuct and no longer needed. As it has been 8 years since I used some of them there is very little chance it would cause any issues.

I am looking into possibly finding the corresponding database entries and deleteing them. Is this an option?

Since deleting them will cause the display for Customers on the Accounts to be a problem, would just having them not show in the Admin work for you?

If so, in your Admin go to the Localization ... Orders Status ... and click on each on and get the number of the orders_status_id, this would be the oID that you see in the URL ...

Hiding is probably the best solution. What do I do when I have Oid? How do I hide them? Is there a way to incorporate a hide button so that I can do this for any that I no longer need. Could be a very useful pluggin.

It looks like (and from some past experience) if you provide ajeh with the information requested, that she will give you the exact code necessary to (as indicated) hide it in/from the admin. I would say, if the code provided doesn't specifically offer some sort of on off switch, it is not entirely difficult to add one of your own as part of the program depending on the logic and it's placement. But it would more than likely require additional database information to be entered/maintained or with good notes, then it could be hard coded which seems the direction ajeh is/was headed.

You are showing all of these:
    Pending
    Processing
    Delivered
    Dispatched
    Collected
    Part Delivered
    Back Order
    Customer Returning Item
    Delivered - Part Paid
    Undelivered
    Ready For Collection
    Reserved
    Delivered - Unpaid
    Returned
    Refunded
Could you post all of the orders_status_id that you see for these ...
