Want to add another e-mail address field to customer account

Hi

I need to add an additional field to the customer account where the account holder can enter an e-mail address for their Line Manager.

Then, somehow I need a copy of the order confirmation to also go to this e-mail address when an order is placed.

Does anyone know how to do this or know of another way?

Any help / advice much appreciated.
