Discounts all items based on price of single item.

Hi,

Firstly this is my first post as I have just installed Zen Cart - a simply amazing piece of software and support community. Thanks to everyone.

Currently I am using the Ashley Pink template (wonderful template :-)

Now my issue:

At this point across all products (within all categories) my items have only two(2) prices: $15 & $11.

I would to set-up the follow during checkout:

* Assuming multiple items*

IF one(1) of those items = $15 then ALL other items will be discounted to $11.

Eg.

1) If the cart has three(3) items: (1 x $15, 2 x $11) then there is NO discount: cart checkout = $37.
2) If the cart has three(3) items: (2 x $15, 1 x $11) then there is a discount of $4: Cart checkout = $37.
3) If the cart has three(3) items: (3 x $15), then there is a discount of $8: Cart checkout = $37.

The constant is that one(1) item MUST be $15 to effect this net checkout discount.

NOTE - I am not using any other add on modules for the above process (should I be?).

I hope that is clear?

I have got this far with everything else but this issue is hurting my head.

Hi,

Sorry to post again regarding this but I believe I did need to be more succinct re what I am trying to achieve as I may have overly complicated things in my previous post.

Essentially I am trying to achieve:

IF one(1) item in my cart = $15 then ALL others items (priced at $11+) are discounted to $11.

These reduced amounts do NOT need to be displayed in the cart during shopping but ONLY during the final check-out process.

Would any addons/plugins available achieve this desire?

I have also posted re having this programmed but am waiting responses.
