Different Shipping Locations

Hello,

I have done searches but cant find any help!

I have about 4000 products on my cart at this time. About half of them come from one location in CA.
The others come from other vendors in different parts of the USA.
What I am having problems with is setting up different shipping locations and prices for that shipping from these different vendors.
In other words I need to have the cart figure shipping from many different zip codes.

What do you want if a customer buys items from multiple ship locations??

Then I would have to have different shipping rates per item, so if a person bought some cable from Ca and an item from my vendor is New York, I would have different shipping prices.
By the time I am done I will be drop shipping from perhaps 20 different areas of the USA.

So you need to set in the shipping modules that it is "per item"

This sort of arrangement is extremely "customer-UN-friendly" as well... Customers will have to pay very high shipping rates if they order multiple products AND they have to wait for deliveries from SEVERAL senders. This is a real hassle for working people in particular.

You may get people buying from you once - but they are unlikely to return for future purchases.

Put yourself in the customer's shoes... Many webshop owners don't do this.
