Created a new category but no products show up. Sidebar disappears

I have just created a new category (several actually) but each time I put products or sub categories in the new category, nothing shows up when you look at the site.

You can see it says Home > What's New > Tutorials (the name of the new category) but there should be further categories in there. Also, the sidebar on the right is missing and is replaced with white space.

The products and the category and sub categories have their status set to active.

I added google remarketing code to my site during the week. Could this have caused something to error?

This is the category with no sidebar and isn't showing the sub categories.

No... because on OTHER products I see the following at the end of the pagecode:

This indicates that the code has been correctly inserted into tpl_main_page.php

on your NEW CATEGORY (tutorials) the HTML is truncating at:

What ERRORS are being reported in your cache / log folder ?
