    Default php.ini: are these extension calls necessary?

    Ive been digging around doing some clean up and came across a php.ini file in home/myACctName ( not web directory)
    it has:
    extension=pdo.so
    extension=pdo_sqlite.so
    extension=sqlite.so
    extension=pdo_mysql.so
    date.timezone="America/Denver"
    extension="ixed.5.3.lin"
    zend_extension="/usr/local/Zend/lib/Guard-5.5.0/php-5.3.x/ZendGuardLoader.so"

    I understand that not having the following extensions on the server is a server/hosting issue BUT, Im wondering if the calls to the extensions are even needed?
    Is this ini file and its calling to these extensions something that is native to ZC? Do I need to call to these extensions for any reason in 1.5.1

    These are throwing errors on my server and filling up my error log. Host says to comment out the code.... hmmmmm

    Apache version 2.2.23
    PHP version 5.3.21

    Thanks

    All those extensions you listed have nothing to do with official core ZC code.
    The only thing you mentioned that Zen Cart would care about is the date.timezone setting. And that's not using an extension.

    Great thank you for the response. I had them install the extension any way... should be there..
