Customer view orders link is missing?,

Am reading the manual and see there is an option for the customer to view therir order history.
but when i got to the 'My Account' page, i don't see any link leading to an order history?

is that where the link should be?,

i.e.,
index.php?main_page=account

Yes, in a clean unaltered installation of Zen Cart, after a customer places an order they can see summaries of all their order history in their My Account page. The links there will take them to another page which shows the complete details of the selected order.
