Upgrading but no installer so can't upgrade the database! (a patch is needed)

I am in the process of trying to upgrade from version 1.3.5 to 1.5.1.

I have been doing my best to follow "How do I Upgrade My Zen Cart site? - 3 EASY STEPS TO UPGRADE ZEN CART" http://www.zen-cart.com/content.php?148

I uploaded the files to a new folder on the server and adjusted the two configure.php files.

Then, in my browser I went to the URL of the test site but did not get the upgrade window. Instead I am viewing the site with a warning saying the install folder is still there and that the database needs to be patched.

Can anyone help with sorting this out?

Have found the installer. Typed in zc_install after the URL and am now moving ahead with the upgrade...
