Admin section lockout

Where can I find information on the lockout after so many failed attempts on the admin? I've been unable to login, even by resetting the password from the database and the forgot password link. I haven't checked, but is there data in activity log that shows failed/successful logins?

I cannot login at all. I've ran query to reset the "Admin password to hashed "admin" then in requests a new password, once I attempt to login with the new password it says nothing, at all..

Ok, I should have done my research before posting. Used a different browser and it worked, so clear cache would fix this problem.
