Default WYSIWYG editor with image upload

I am looking for a WYSIWYG plugin editor that has direct image upload for the EZ pages.

    I am using:
    Zen Cart v1.5.1
    CK Editor v3.6.5

The client would like to upload images directly in the editor for the EZ pages. The CKEditor does not have this ability, you have to upload elsewhere and then just link to it (at least my version does not have image upload capability). I looked for another editor with this capability and found the: TinyMCE Plugin but it looks like the last compatible version is 1.3.9.

Where can I find a WYSIWYG editor for the EZpages, that has image upload capability? My clients do not have the ability nor know-how to upload images to the server then link to them. I have got to be missing something here.

I have the CKEditor plugin and am using it with ZenCart v1.5.1. I can use the CKEditor just fine. When I click the image icon in the CKEditor the image dialog box pops up. There is no place to upload images, just change things like: target frame, alt, paste URL and other settings. Once again, it does not have the ability to upload the images to the server and then link to the image, it only has the ability to link to the already uploaded image. Am I missing something here?

(Even the editor on this forum allows me to upload images, directly from the editor).

Are you aware of another editor that is current and available that has this ability? I really need this ability for my client.

To my understanding the image upload is a premium feature not included out the box with CKEditor.. There are also security concerns too with using these tools for image upload.. Others more knowledgeable than I can explain/confirm this..

I simply teach my clients who need this how to use Filezilla (PC FTP client) or CyberDuck (Mac FTP client), and none of them have ANY issues uploading and then linking issues.

    Good luck..

Have you seen/tried this addon for the CKeditor?

I must admit, I've not tried it myself, but if you do, I'm sure many would be interested in the results.

    Cheers

Diva Vocals, that is what I have been doing and still do now, but it is still the long way around. The client would still have to manually type in the link, and perform more steps. It's like taking the bypass instead of running straight through a City. There should be no reason the person should have to leave the editor to add an image (they already have access to the control panel,so why not). But I do appreciate your feedback and the workaround.

Rod, thank you, the link you provided is cost effective. I would buy it in a minute, but I am afraid I wills screw something up in my control panel. I am not sure I have the skills to successfully implement. I suppose I will try the older version of TinyMCE (v1.3.9) and see if it works properly. This is why I do not like to update Zen until a few months. It gives some time for the modules to catch up :)

At times, when I am in a hurry - I open the folder with my images "right click", select copy and paste the image using CKEditor.
