Additional Image Replacing Existing Image Instead of Adding as a Second Image

This is a new problem that just started. I have not made any upgrades or changes to my website files. My images are named correctly (i.e. eagle.jpg, eagle_01.jpg, eagle_02.jpg, etc) and the 'Show Product Additional Images' in Admin is on.

I upload images via the admin product info page where I first list the products. After I browse to find the correct image and select it, I ensure that 'Delete Image' is set to No and 'Overwrite Existing Image on Server' is also set to No.

When I save it, the first image is replaced by the new one and I have no additional images. I'm not using any image add-on or mod, this just started last week after uploading images to my site since I built it last year.

I must be able to show multiple images. I have looked through the forums but I havent been able to find anyone with a similar problem that isnt naming their prictures incorrectly or hasnt modified their site in some way prior to the issue.

If I understand exactly what you're asking, you can't upload additional images via admin. As you discovered, each image will replace the one before. As long as your additional images are properly named, just FTP them to the proper folder and they will appear.

Thank you, that worked! But why isnt it working through my admin?? Its much easier to add the images via admin and other people have access to the admin whereas I am the only one who uses the FTP.

Adding additional images through admin just isn't a feature of the current Zencart version.

When creating/modifying products, you can only upload the PRIMARY image.. to upload additional images you need to FTP them to your site (as was suggested to you)

OR

you need an add-on which allows you to upload additional product images.. Image Handler4 is one, but there is another add-on (who's name escapes me) which is JUST for uploading additional product images (without all the other nice features IH4 offers)..
