Disable check against last 3 passwords

Anyone know how to turn off the security feature that checks against your previous three passwords? I found this thread, below, which describes how, but I find it vague and I don't want to break the php by just adding a return FALSE; in there. The line they cite appears three times in the admin_acces.php file.

I'd like specific line #s and exact code to add/replace/remove if possible for ZC 1.5.1

b) To disable the check against the last 3 passwords, edit

admin/includes/functions/admin_access.php
and change zen_check_for_password_problems() so that the first line is
return FALSE;

Are you aware that that will invalidate your PCI compliance?
Who's your payment provider?
Have you checked with your payment processing company and obtained written approval that it's okay to remove the security protections which they require for your compliance with the terms you agreed to when you opened your payment processing account?
