Blank screen in admin when switching from English

I just installed the latest version.

When switching from English to a different language in admin, the screen goes blank. The url is like this:
../index.php?cmd=languages&language=no&cmd=languages.

When I change the language code back to en, it works.

I tried another language too, but same result.

Which languages are in use? I've seen zc157 updates for Spanish, French and Dutch; did you install the associated zc157 language pack?

You can also install the Display Logs tool (see your admin's Modules :: Plugins to perform that install). That plugin will enable you to view the debug-logs associated with the error(s) when switching from English.

Fyi, if there have not been any reconfigurations of the previous language defaults, then the language attempted should have been norwegian based on the provided url information. The above questions and help still apply for addressing the remainder of the issues.

Noting that in the "proper" upgrade of the system, the database would still be expected to try to recognize the other languages, but their absence of appropriate data/files would still cause issues. I don't recall there being code that removes those extra languages from the choices just because the file(s) are not properly placed/present.
