Create Account not Working...Error occurs and times out

When we try to create an account, we receive an error in Mozilla that reads:
"Our system already has a record of that email address - please try logging in with that email address. If you do not use that address any longer you can correct it in the My Account area."

In Chrome the error reads:
"The webpage at https://www.artsysupplies.com/index....8843d0931a0807 might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address."

Hosting checked SSL and all is good there, contacted PicaFlor Azul and she was not able to help either...if anyone has any thoughts or ideas on what I can check to get this taken care of, it would be appreciated.

Try switching to the classic template and creating an account

If this is successful your best bet is contacting the template supplier

Well then to basics
List all addons
what php version
what mysql version
confirm the ZenCart version

A default install, which is what you should have had when switching to classic does not exhibit this

Just an update to this...I installed Zen Cart in another folder, not the root, checked the customer account issue and could create an account with no problem.

I then installed the template and tried to create an account and had the same error. I will contact the creator of the template, but in the meantime, if you think of anything, please do let me know. In addition to this error, there have been a few others that I have been able to work around, but because I use GoDaddy Linux Hosting, I was told by the template creator that she could not help. Changing hosting providers is not an option for me, and I have never had an issue with GoDaddy. I realize that in the past there were issues, but I would hope that Zen Cart developers can help GoDaddy customers since GoDaddy is actually promoting Zen Cart! That is why I chose Zen Cart...

We do what we can, but most GD issues really are GD issues and have little or nothing to do with ZenCart itself.

There's probably good reason for that. In spite of GoDaddy causing most of their own issues, the ZenCart developers have still made all reasonable (and some unreasonable) attempts to cater to the GoDaddy 'quirks'. Something that the developers of many of the other eCommerce systems are reluctant to do. As such, Godaddy don't have much in the way of other options for them to promote. In other words, this isn't a matter of GoDaddy promoting ZenCart because they think it is the best, they do so because of a lack of other systems that work in their hosting environment.

I realize that there is a perception that most people around here would recommend GD be avoided at all costs, but that doesn't mean that we aren't willing to help with their problems, it is just that *sometimes* the help needed really does mean changing to a better host.
