Before you go any further you need to understand that ANY automatic install COULD result in later problems for your site.

We do not recommend ANY automated install whether a first-time load and especially not on an upgrade.

The issue with the admin is just one of the reasons for our advice.

You can change the name of the 'admin' folder anytime and as often as you want.

CSS is very intolerant of spelling variations. .customer_service {display: none;} will remove that link, though it might make more sense to remove it in the mega_menu code.

I'm not as 'grim death' about autoinstallers, as long as you never. never try to use one to upgrade your Zencart site. If the site is working, there's no need to re-install it now.

    Hi Steve,

Much appreciate! Would rather do it over now then later when it is stocked with lots of products!

Have a problem though and host cant help .... is there another way to get into the setup/welcome to Zen setup?

*** Can you manually update a site that was auto installed then ... if I cant get around this problem then I will have to keep the auto site???

    PROBLEM
In your browser, enter the URL to your new shop, and the Installer should automatically start.
    Example: http://www.mydomain.com/catalog
    - or - to start the installer directly, use: http://www.mydomain.com/catalog/zc_install
If you now see a list of filenames and directories, you should speak to your Hosting Site about how to setup your server to auto-detect PHP filename extensions.

    REPLY FROM HOST COMPANY
We can not assit with this query, i would suggest you check with Zencart Support for alternative around this issue at hand.
As all auto scripts are desinged to make life much easier, some aspects needs more knowledge on the specified issue relating to your installation.

Not sure I understand the question. If you want to install Zencart manually, just delete all the files you have now and then upload the files manually and start the installation.
