Adding Braintree payment module

I added the braintree module to leandmo.com .....but nothing is showing up on the checkout page.......I'm guessing there should be a selection of charge cards available.......I don't see any......just paypal checkout.

Just curious. I am coming from Paypal Pro and I was able to issue refunds directly from the admin screen. It appears this module does not allow the refund from the admin screen?

The only way to refund the order is to log into Braintree site and issue the refund there. I am only using the sandbox at this time as I am testing out a possible switch from Paypal Pro.

Once I went from sandbox to production I am able to refund the order in the admin panel.

However testing ZC 1.5.8 I noticed this payment module does not work. During checkout on step 2, you fill out the credit card information and then click continue and nothing happens.

There is an error log with the following:

I believe english.php was changed to lang.english.php in v1.5.8. However I have no idea how to fix it.

Yes, that's an identified bug in zc158. See this (https://github.com/zencart/zencart/pull/5413) GitHub change for the correction.

Numinix team: is it your intention to update this plugin for PHP 8? It looks like it hasn't had a release in the last couple of years.

I have updated the Plugins Library with the latest refresh of Braintree from Numinix. Thanks to the Numinix team for making this available to the community.

I just tried Braintree version 2.2.8 on Zen Cart 1.5.8a with PHP 7.4.33. Uninstalled the old module (1.4.5), uploaded the new version and clicked install. Took a while but then the screen stropped before the braintree selection shows under Payment Modules. Blank Screen after Authorize.net (AIM).

Reinstalled 1.4.5 and it works again.
