help question Blue Admin [Support Thread]

I'm glad to see so many people are already downloading my template which is cool to see. I wasn't expecting it to be honest. I created it for my customers to give a personalised touch.

If anyone wants to make any suggestions or requests feel free or simply let me know what you like and what you don't.

version 1.0.1 will be coming soon with a logo added and better file structure to the folders in the zip

Can you put up demo site or something so we can see it in action. That way we all could see how it looks and feels before we download it. Thanks

I've submitted the minor update. I'll get a demo site up soon shouldn't be too difficult to do. Any other colours anyone is interested in?

Not bad and very similar to my admin theme which I have been using for years now (didn't like the green stuff either...)

One suggestion: change the font color of the section headings to something darker, the white font on a light blue background is not very legible. Maybe try one of the colors used for the 2 header bars eg #014F6D or #00618F

    Cheers / Frank

    Another suggestion:

In my admin I have moved the "Orders" block from the bottom of the left column to the right one just under the "New Orders" block. This keeps anything related to 'Orders' in one column. I rarely look at the left hand column when doing my order admin stuff. All I am interested in are the new orders, the status of my orders and perhaps the new customers (who are you???).

Stats are being gleaned at only occasionally.

I had thought about moving menu items around but decided that as most people know this layout i'd stick with it. I'll have a look at the writing you're referring to and perhaps add it to the next update

    Link to my admin/index.php file

The only modification to that file is the layout of <div id="colone">..(code here)...</div> and <div id="colthree">..(code here)...</div>

Just drop this file into your test-admin folder (backup the original first) and upload it to your test site.

I'm gonna take a look at that tomorrow I did want to simplify my menu's for web design clients anyway so that it makes it easier for them to work out everything a lot simpler. I don't suppose you know what line in the php file the menu lists are do you? I also wanna take out that music bit as I've never yet seen a single person use it.

Also gonna be closing this support thread in favour of an all in one support thread for all the different colours I'm putting together.
