hi,
Well I went and started over with a clean install (I still have the old one on my ftp - so I can transfer the downloads etc over). I am trying to find the old file that would list my product description - so I don't have to rewrite them? Which file are they on and where are they located? I have been searching for a bit and can't seem to find them....

They are stored in your database along with most other product information, just import a copy of your old database and away you go.

what folder is the database in? I am in the process of downloading the files from my old store and looking thru each one. It's going to take awhile doing that....

The database IS NOT IN A FILE OR FOLDER.
It is in your MySQL Database, accessible usually via phpMyAdmin provided by your hosting company.

Thank you - I did figure that out from somewhere else - never knew that I had a database section. I have never used it before....
