Site moved to new server, now the admin is not working, help?!?

Our site, while still in development was moved to a new server.

the front-end of the site, and the DB is working no problem. i changed the settings in the

catalog/includes/configure.php

But the admin is no longer working, although i did the same in the config files.

admin/includes/configure.php

so now when going to admin/index.php i get asked if i want to install ZenCart!!!

what am i missing? what files do i need to change?

When you see that installation page, the cause is almost always incorrect path information in admin/includes/configure.php.

i see the urls and in that file and they are the same as the public facing catalog pages which

are up and running no problem, ...criminey!

... and it gives several possible reasons for it, usually numbered 1, 2, 3. While 1 and 2 are fairly generic, if #3 is present, it's pretty specific.

So let's start with a complete copy of the full message that you get on-screen.

someone on the server side fixed it, i really don't know what it was. don't think it was the config files.

my client is not using a commercial host provider,
