New install admin screen is blank and NO log files present

Hi

I have installed a new 1.51 and admin screen is blank. I have read the 'Blank' screen in forums but none of which apply to my problem.

I have correct entries in the following files but still a blank screen. Public site is fine.

Can anyone please advice how to find the problem? I can not find any log files in /logs

config in includes

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.juteshopping.com.au');
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.juteshopping.com.au');

and config in admin ('admin' folder has been changed)

define('HTTP_SERVER', 'http://www.juteshopping.com.au');
define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://www.juteshopping.com.au');
define('HTTP_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://www.juteshopping.com.au');

I have in configure.php 'admin/includes'
define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', realpath(dirname(__FILE__) . '/../') . '/');

is it correct?

Mine is this, and works fine:

define('DIR_FS_ADMIN', realpath(dirname(__FILE__) . '/../') . '/');

Thank you for your reply. Mine is the same as I have not touched it but still not working. This is the first time installation and only the admin having problems with.

Top this up , there are no logs to read. Yes log folder there etc as it is a new install.

The next thing I'd check is that all the files transferred correctly, and that none are missing, and none are incomplete, and that there aren't any files there that don't belong with a fresh install.

What permissions do you have for your /log/ folder?

Also, check your *server* error logs for possible clues (These are generally accessible via your Cpanel/Plesk, etc).
