    Just changing that is not necessarily the solution as you existing Orders, both current and history could be goobered up, depending on the real issue of what the current id is for each of your Order Status now ...

    You are welcome to just go along your merry way, if you feel you have solved everything from PayPal to GVs and Discount Coupons to existing Orders etc. etc. etc. ... our concerns related to what the other effects of the change(s) may have on your old orders and your new orders ...

    Hopefully you are correct, and all is right in the world once more ...

    Right now everything seems to be okay. I'll obviously have to keep a close eye on it. All I've done is tell the payment module to set the status to the correct status when a new order comes in. This hasn't affected any previous or current orders.

    I'll be crossing my fingers.

    Off topic but related to your site and future issues ...

    Do you Import your Products or have both Products and SubCategories mixed in your Categories?

    I am seeing a lot of references to cPath=0 in the links as I mouse over things and this state should never exist on Products as all Products have a master_categories_id ...

    NOTE: this could be because you are using v1.3.9d and have not gone to at least v1.3.9h or v1.5 or v1.5.1 ...
