Default Purchased template: One click configuration issue

    Hi zen cart pals

I recently bought a template that has one click configuration

Supposedly its available under extras but it is not there. I read previously on another site that it is related to permissions of admin folder or perhaps another folder?

How do you enable one click configuration? please be very basic explaining as I am relatively new to zencart

    Thanks in advance !!!

The only one click template configuration I am aware of is "None"

However I have seen several companies use the term "one click" to make people think their templates are that much easier to install and activate.

You may want to try the tools > template selection link

I doubt if there is such a thing as a 'one click template'. What template have you bought ?

One click configuration, once its installed

to be visible exactly as the demo is

    Still installs the same way

Its visible under extras I believe once permissions are set, I think it has something to do with copying to a new folder. I have seen several companies advertise these type of templates.

I'm trying to understand your scenario ... you bought a product from someone, and it doesn't work as designed, and you've opted to "read on another site" and also post here about it, instead of talking to the folks from whom you bought the product that's not working? Is that correct?

Don't the folks from whom you bought the template support it?

Yes, I submitted a ticket but its the weekend, The company is pixemus

    www.pixemus.com I bought mobishop

They say that once it is installed you can select one click configuration under extras and it will appear with all the settings on the demo , specifically the responsive links and the category sizes , pics ETC

They are not the only company I have heard advertise the config once the template is installed.

When you boil it down to basics, their so-called "one click" is just a bunch of SQL statements they run to change admin configuration switch settings for you.

And if their template was designed for v1.3.x and not for v1.5.x the their admin menu pieces won't work at all, because the admin menu was changed in 1.5.0. They'll need to do it differently.

Oops ... I guess I should have told you to look under the Extras menu.
But I figured I'd take you at your word instead of calling you stupid when you said it wasn't showing there. Your screenshot proves I was wrong, and that I should have refrained from wasting my time trying to help, because the menu option was apparently there all along despite what you posted.

Actually my post said that it wasn't there

Because steps need to be taken to ensure that feature is ENABLED which is what I came here asking

But like I said you are so ready to be a faggot , you forgot why you are here posting in the first place.
