Zone rate shipping does not disappear when free shipping option is triggered

How do I get ZenCart to only show the free shipping option when the customers total reaches the target price to activate it?
At the moment it shows the free option and the zone rates option. Also if I set zone rate option to zero cost above 300 it says that the rate cannot be determined at this time.

You could install Free Shipping based on Modules ... Order Totals ... Shipping ot_shipping and set the Total >= 300 and then set the Zone to National or Internation for who does noth get the Free Shipping or set to both if *everyone* in the World gets Free Shipping when Order Total is >= 300.00 ...

NOTE: you really need to upgrade to a least Zen Cart v1.3.9h or v1.5 or v1.5.1 as that buggy and insecure v1.3.8 is way out of date ...

Hi, Not quite what I was after as its the same as what is in the package already. I have several tarrifs based upon what the customer spends and where the customer lives. I use zone rates for this. I can get it to give free postage to any order over €300 but it still displays the zone rates option. How do I remove this when the free option is triggered?

I will upgrade one day. Not too confident to do it myself and don't want to break it and be completely stuck.
