    Default Trying to recreate an existing store on my Macbook..eeek

    today i copied an enitre ZC file system and DB onto my MacBook. i got the DB installed no problem. but when going to the index page i see the installer page.

    i've opened up both catalog/includes/configure.php and the admin one too.

    one question is, for the https is okay to put something like below?

    define('HTTPS_CATALOG_SERVER', 'http://localhost/~myname/kart/');

    and if possible, where do i change the host name for the database?

    or maybe i should just run the installer?, does that make sense for an already populated ZenCart?

    thanks

    Yes, you can use an http URL instead of https on your localhost/pc/mac for development/testing, since you probably don't have a fully-signed SSL cert for your standalone computer. Just don't do anything that requires use of sensitive data such as credit card numbers while working on your local computer.
