Database updated incorrectly when Gift Certificate covers order value?

Customer has $15 GV value


Places order for $7.95 and applies $7.95 of GV to that order. Customer selects store pickup so no shiiping invloved.


Check out process looks correct and customer gets email which also looks correct

however when I check the order in admin it looks like this

Looks as though the tax calculations are reprocessed after checkout and before data is stored in database. Searched the forum for some time and could not find a solution. All help appreciated.

Not that it would have caused the discrepancies that are present, but do you have either super orders or edit orders installed?

Puzzles me a little that the sub-total in two places is different.

In the checkout email, why does tax show 0.72 which is not applied to the order total? Looks wrong to me in both places...

May be useful to know what sort_order is configured for each order total module AND what tax settings are configured (including for ot_gv)...
