Default Displaying a subcategory filtered by the manufacturer

I know the following URL displays all products from a certain manufacturer.
    Code:
    http://MyDomain.com/index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=12
I am trying to display all products under a subcategory by a particular manufacturer.

I tried the following and it doesn't work.
    Code:
    http://MyDomain.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=9_15&manufacturers_id=12
Is this possible to query the above? How is it done?

The way that works in Zen Cart is to use:
    filter_id

for the manufacturers_id when there is a cPath set ...

So if you were looking at cPath 3_10 and wanted to filter manufacturers_id 4 you would have:
    /index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3_10&filter_id=4

If you were looking at manufacturers_id 4 and wanted to filter categories_id 10 you would have:
    /index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=4&filter_id=10

The above somehow doesn't work for me!

when I place /index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3_10&filter_id=4, it displays all products under category 3 and sub-category 10, without filtering for manufacturer_id 4.

    also
when I place /index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=4&filter_id=3_10, it displays all products for manufacture_id 3.

The cart is using Dynamic Filter. Could that be causing this?

    For this one:
when I place /index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3_10&filter_id=4, it displays all products under category 3 and sub-category 10, without filtering for manufacturer_id 4.
    I cannot reproduce a problem as I get 3 Products from categories_id 10 (which is cPath 3_10) and the manufacturers_id 4 ...

If you check in your Admin for DVD ... Action ... do you have the master_categories_id on:
Die Hard With A Vengeance Linked
    Speed 2: Cruise Control
    Speed Linked

each set to the master_categories_id for Action?

    For manufacturers_id 4 and subcategories categories_id 10 (from 3_10) this one:
when I place /index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=4&filter_id=3_10, it displays all products for manufacture_id 3.

    has to be:
    /index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=4&filter_id=10

You probably are not seeing the listing but rather the centerboxes ...
