    Default How can I change background color on search field so you can see the text?

    If you go here: http://heteromorphic.com/zencart/ you can see if you try to type in the search field it is black so you can't see what you are typing. This is highly problematic when my customers are trying to checkout and it happens in other fields as well like the coupon code.

    Does anyone know how to remove that w/out changing my entire background color or to change the text color in those?

    Thanks in advanced!
    Kristen

    It's here in stylesheet.css:

    input:focus, select:focus, textarea:focus {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #000D18;
    }

    You can change that to #FFFFFF if you want a white background.

    Thank you - I did that and nothing changed though... I'm afraid I may have altered it somewhere else too?

    It worked for me on your site in Firebug, and when I look at your stylesheet now, it's still #000D18, so whatever you did didn't change anything. Are your stylesheet files writable ?

    Yes, perhaps I'm changing it in the wrong area. Do you know the full path by chance?

    If you created your own template then the stylesheet is located in includes/templates/your_template/css/stylesheet.css otherwise it is in the default template folder or classic.
