My first thought is that you have a bad or corrupt file for the forgotten password ...
If you look in the /logs or /cache directory, depending on your version of Zen Cart ... do you see any debug logs generated when you hit the white page?

There's 174 debugs in the cache folder which would should I be looking for. They are all dated back in Feb.
You should not have any ...
Delete the old ones then trigger the error again and refresh the directory in your FTP program ... is a new log generated?

Those files were in the cache folder. I deleted them and no new debug file shows up in that folder.
Howevere I cannot access the logs folder. The connection keeps timing out. So can't tell if anything new has shown up there.
Probably/possibly have too many error logs. I have run across this once before and had to go into my host's ftp program, cleared the directory then tried again. Or at least deleted the older files. I may have even had to delete the directory and then recreate it. Not sure which. I do know that I caused the problem for myself by unnecessarily turning on one of the logging features that stored a file every time a sidebox showed up. Something I definitely didn't need and was actually preventing me from logging in as well.

Another way to fix the /logs should it have too many files to access via FTP is to rename it /log_BAD and create a new directory /logs and load the original files that should be in there for:
.htaccess
index.html
index.php
then, you can delete the directory /log_BAD from either your FTP program or your domain's Control Panel ...
