"Insufficient Stock" notice doesn't appear in shopping cart

Hi,

While products with attributes show the "Insufficient Stock" notice in the cart when you try ordering more than we have, products that don't have any attributes don't show the notice. I do not want to display available quantities on product pages, but at the same time, I do want to allow checkout if order is larger than stock, just need the insufficient stock notice to appear. What do I need to do?

Update - I guess I didn't look far enough - the insufficient notice does show up for products without attributes, however not until the "confirm order" page and without the available quantity provided. Is it possible to make it appear in the shopping cart itself and with available quantity? That's where and how the notice for OOS items with attributes appears. In the screenshot below, both items have insufficient stock, the first one has no attributes while the second has one:

It should show on both ... by default that is how it works when the Quantity added to the cart is greater than the products_quantity ...

Is this a clean install of v1.5.1?

Do you have any add ons that address stock?

Any change if you switch to the Classic Template and test this?

Hi Ajeh - this ZC install uses the Classic template for now, but is full of plugins, including Stock by Attribute. And..ha!...I just noticed on the plugin's download page they do have an update that's supposed solve this very issue... Gonna give it a try, will post my result here.
