It probably could be updated to work with 1.5.X, but I doubt if it would be useful, considering the changes the search engines have made in their algorithms in the 5+ years since it was written.

character count for title and meta description etc has not changed over the last couple of years

I updated this for 1.5.3 and it seems to work. the files that get replaced have changed somewhat, probably due to security or something. This does seem like a very useful feature. I was about to go back through all my metadata and update counts that way, but this is probably the better way.

Just installed on my 151 and it works ok

Rizla... Thanks for the post! I was just getting around to installing v151 on a sub-domain to see if it worked with this version before attempting on my live site... Maybe I should just leave the sub-domain dummy site up for testing!
