Missing content question. Help please

Hi all.
I having a problem with a couple of sites not holding content of new products. The sites are are all pretty much the same and where all quite happy until recently. All with the same host.
The trouble is I add a product and it previews perfectly and then completes fine but the content doesn't show on the site and when I check back in Admin the product is there but description is empty.
Any advice gratefully accepted.

Quick Update
I had a really good look today and the 2 products I was having trouble with were still showing empty descriptions, I put them back in and it was working straight away. I added another product and everything happened again. I checked the logs but nothing there so I looked in the database and the sure enough the new product had no description so I added it directly and it displayed properly.
It appears that for some reason my database isn’t collecting all data sent.
Has anyone else ever come across this sort of issue before?

Most likely is a problem with invalid characters or scripts you are copying and pasting in the the description field =)

Just got to the bottom of it,
Server had a PHP update to PHP 5.4 and I’m running Zen 139h that isn’t compliant. I got the host to revert to PHP 5.3 and everything is back to normal.

Oh eck I have the same problem - if I upgrade from 1.39h will it fix itself for me? I cant see bravenet changing anything their end for me
