I Need An Addon That Will Allow Me To Only Sell Certain Products With Other Products

Basically my boss has asked me to set the website to only allow customers to buy certain items if they buy another item.
Here is what he asked me “we need to add a clause against KC dispensers that when then buy dispensers that they have to buy the product that goes in it. For every six dispensers or less that one case of Paper or Soap needs to be purchased along with the dispensers. Otherwise we cannot get the dispensers from KC.“

Are there any modules that will allows us to do this and also let us offer dispersers free on loan if a customer buys a certain item tissue/hand wash.

I don't mind if I have to manually enter it in to code rather than just an module.

Any help would be really useful as at the moment I feel like this and I really need to get this done asap before my boss destroys me.

Suggest you get in touch with swguy - he would be the one to "reverse engineer" one of his many mods.

You can do this with attributes, set the option value to default, then set the configuration switch in product types to attribute is default and of course decide if you'd like to add the attribute price to the product or price it by attributes and leave the product prices 0.

This can EASILY be done with attributes. You will need to set a base price for the dispenser, and then add the paper and soap as product attributes with an associated cost. You will need make it a required attribute so that customers don't purchase a dispenser without the soap or paper.

You could probably also do this with attributes.. Set the price for your product and the attributes in this case will not have an associated cost.. You will have to decide if the dispensers are a required attribute.. I imagine that this is NOT a required attribute.. Not all customers will need a dispenser EVERYTIME they purchase soap or paper..
