Coupons not working when payment module is on. Need help Please

I have my Grand Opening today and found out last night about this issue. I have searched to forum for hours and can not find anyone having this issue.

During testing I had my payment module off and the coupons worked fine. As soon as I turn on my Payment Module it will no longer apply the coupon. I do not get the notification that it worked and will not show in the invoice.

I'm looking for a fix or workaround. My thought is to move the Discount code entry to it's own page in the checkout process before the cc information is entered. If this is possible How would I do that? Or, Would it be possible to move the Coupon Entry off the same page as the CC information page to the previous page? This way the discount can be added before a customer adds the CC information.

One other thought, could a button be added that will apply the discount without requiring a customer to enter the credit card information first and going to the final conformation page?

Sorry yes that might help,

It is the "Gateway Processing Services" Module GPS

It is the only module that I have as active all others are disabled.

I have now lost business over this issue. Please some one help me move this to to page 1 of the checkout or Page 3. My Processing company says they can't help and thee is nothing wrong with the setup, the template is fine and should work because it works offline. If I were better at manipulating code I would do it myself but I'm hesitant to do this for fear of crashing the store. Maybe what I'm asking is not simple but even directions would be helpful. :)

Just tested:
If I turn on the Check or Money Order with the Gateway on, It will work as it should.

If I turn on just the Check and MO it works as it should.

Tried just because:
But Just the gateway it won't work.

I am afraid I am not familiar with the "Gateway Processing Services" Module GPS so I really cannot say why it doesn't work alone ...

Do you have the addon that you used for that?

The module is a stand alone file. I don't use any other add on with it.

Now this is odd, I tested the just the gateway first, Now after it worked once with my test profile it is adding the coupon automatically without typing it in. Odd
