Hide one category from category side box

Can I hide one category from the category sidebox. I do not want to disable it just hide it from the list.
My site is www. thehorsestall .com .au and the category is "gift ideas".

Thank you frank18 for the quick responce. The first link's option worked perfectly. (used the tpl-categories.php option)
I want to do it for exactly the same reason as the person in that link. Searched everywhere in the forum but could not find that post.
