Multiple Option Names, but same Option Values

To help speed up my site, I was wondering if there is a way to do the following:

Select first vegetable:
Select second vegetable:
etc

But all of the fields are populated with the same data:
Potato
Carrot
etc

Instead, I have to populate the attribute every time, and I believe it is the cause behind some site latency.

Any insight?

If I understand the question, you can assign Option Values to multiple Option Names.

Thanks dbltoe, but the end goal was to reduce the time it took to generate the page. The load time is much too excessive.
