Default Admin backend has lost all of it's formatting after making changes

    Hi,

I just was updating my customers site and doing some customizations. I wanted to refresh the active website copy and make sure everything matched with my development version on my machine. When I put the site back to the server, the frontend works fine. No issues at all. Every customization is there.

When I go to the admin backend, every added feature is there as well and they all seem to work. The frustrating part is that I have no formatting of the admin area. It looks like a badly formatted HTML page. I have even gone so far as to copy parts from the original v1.5.1 install into the admin directory (being careful to keep my customization in place). What's weird is that at one point it all worked fine. Then when I got the bright idea to refresh the entire site from my workstation copy... BOOM! Yet it still actually functions like it is supposed to.

    Anyone ever experience this before?

Did you wipe out your CSS stylesheets? Can you snap a shot of what it looks like?

In answer to the question, yes and the correction was going down the rabbit hole described by twitchtoo below.

More than likely one or more files did not upload correctly/completely. This is a standard/common issue when updating the website from any local/remote copy. Unfortunately it happens, but it's not the end of the world. :)

First of all thanks for the wholesale module Twitch! Lot's of work integrating, but I think it'll be worth it!

I am trying to post a copy of the nav area first. Everything is just in one column down the left side.

I'm glad wholesale is working for you :)

The problem you are having with your admin is a broken link TO your CSS files...

    When I remove line 30 and 31
    <link href="includes/stylesheet.css...
    <link rel="stylesheet...

    in admin/index.php

I EXACTLY repeat the problem you are having :)

So make sure the files are there AND the links to them are working. If you have to make the link static starting with http://www.yoursite.com/... and see if that works!

Thank you Twitch! I changed it to a static link and that fixed the whole thing. Bless you!
