When we installed Zen Cart, the URL of our store was http://www.bunkerhilldvd.com/shop/, which appears to be the base URL for the store.
After installation, we changed that path to a sub-domain, shop.bunkerhilldvd.com, and assigned our SSL cert to both our top-level domain and this sub-domain.
Naturally, the shopping cart comes up to the same page with or without the "https://www" when pointed to bunkerhilldvd.com/shop/ (where all the links within the shopping cart end up), or to shop.bunkerhilldvd.com, which is the URL all the "Shop" or "Store" links in main web site point to.
Is there a place in the admin panel - or directly in one of the includes php files - where the home link can be set to point to the full URL: https://shop.bunkerhilldvd.com? You know how customers can be if they don't see that "https" in the address bar. And if they see what appear to be different URLs in the address bar, they worry that they've been hijacked to a scam or phishing site.
For example, if I start at https://shop.bunkerhilldvd.com/ (which is where our main site links all point for shopping), when they click, for example, the "Media" category link, the URL changes to
bunkerhilldvd.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2
The https:// is gone, and so is the sub-domain. Same in Chrome 33, Firefox 27, and IE 10 (although IE10 does show http://, but no https://).
How much of this is under my control (if any), and if it's not in the Admin interface, where do I control it from?
I hope that all made sense - it's even a little confusing to me, and I know exactly what I mean!
