Default "Moving" the customers from V1.39 to V1.51

    Hello,
My kid upgraded my site from V1.39 to V1.51 and transferred it from Bluehost to Hostgator.
I've tested it and it works fine.
The only issue which remained opened is: he doesn't know how to "move" (transfer) the customers too.
As well, for taxes purposes: on the V1.39 (which is still in use), the order number is bigger than in V1.51. Is there any way to fix it?
Any help will be very appreciate!
    Thank you in advance.
    Tedy

You said they "upgraded". But instead it sounds like all they did was install a new version.

An upgrade which preserves customer and order history data requires the original data to work from.
But you transferred to another server at the same time, so the step that was missed was the one of copying the original database from the old server to the new one, and then running zc_install and selecting the database-upgrade option.

    So, you need to:
    - export your old database to a .sql file
    - import that .sql file into your new server's database (this will wipe out the entire database on the new server)
    - run zc_install to upgrade your database content to the new version's format
    - reconfigure any changes made to your site in the new version
