Fantasatico upgrade has changed permisions for my admin

I upgraded from 1.5 using fantastico because there were no mods installed and when we logged into admin I received a message that said we did not have permission to do anything other than look at the front page and change the admin password. We don't have any other admin users on there, just the one.

I need to know how I can get the admin to have full permissions. Help please? I've looked at all the configure and configuration files and I don't see anything. Do I have to do it in the database?

When upgrading, rule #1 is: NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use Fantastico or any other auto-installer!

Always upgrade according to the instructions contained in the docs folder.

You probably need to at least run zc_install and choose database-upgrade. yes, that involves uploading files to your server as described in the upgrade instructions.

But, as others have said, the real problem is that fantastico doesn't do upgrades correctly.
Hopefully you have a good complete backup of your store AND database from BEFORE you did the upgrade, and can restore everything to how it was before upgrading, and then do the upgrade manually so that it works correctly. Unfortunately you'll lose any transaction data that happened since the date of whatever backup you restore from.

Thank you everyone. I've fixed it. I used a portion of what Kobra told me and went into mysql and changed the 0 to a 1 in the admin_profile field which allowed her access to her admin functions. works like a charm.

I have used Fantastico a few times to update and not encountered issues but if the site has a lot of mods I do it manually. I was just too rushed. Won't be doing that again.
