Static Home Page and Custom Product Pages Help

Hi,

I am looking to create a static homepage for the storefront and custom category and product pages for the rest of the store. I need a specific look throughout the store. Anybody know of a good tutorial for this? Thanks

You can style index.php to look as you want and this look can be carried out through the rest of your site
