I made the mistake of setting up my WP Blog to use a variant of my domain name. This explains why this plug in doesn't work for my store. Is there any way to remedy this?

I'm not sure what you mean by "setting up my WP Blog to use a variant of my domain name". "doesn't work" doesn't tell me much more..

What is your blog's URL, your store, URL, do they bothe share the same DB as the prerequisites require.. I need WAAAAAY more details than you've provided..

This installed easy. I had used a earlier version to incorporate zen headers and footers. Are there some easy coding changes to load, at least, zen cart headers, if not footers as well? How about a call to open blog pages in a new tab or window? Many thanks in advance...hoping this is possible as I'd like to take it live.

Not sure what you mean by this.. Details of what it is you are asking here would be appreciated..

No.. blog page open in the same window, and I'm not sure I'll be making this particular change anytime soon.. The reason is simple.. Your blog is as much a part of the "landscape" that makes up your site as your store, or forums are.. They all share the same domain name.. They are part of the same "site".. Your blog is not some red headed step child to be wished away to the cornfield.. Your blog should contain links/navigational elements that bring your site visitors back to your store which negates the need to open the blog links in a new window.

Sorry for the confusion. I had used another mod in the past, no affiliation with yours. It allowed me to use the header and, I believe, sideboxes and footer as well, and populated the page with the blog post.

I would rather not open in a new tab or window; but hope to have just the site header (along with the top menu) for continuity and navigation, as opposed to adding the nav elements to the WP pages. Is that possible to have the store header on the WP pages?

Thanks for the quick responses. I'll hack away at it. Think you did the updated COWOA? Just merged that with "minimum customer account" info and got it working in 3 steps

By the way, thanks for all you do: mods, forum posting/helping us newbies. Hat's off to you!

That's how the Numinix method works.

And if I may step in here.. just want to make sure that this support thread doesn't turn in to a full on discussion about blog embedding.. In the readme, and description of this module I declare VERY clearly that this module is NOT a blog embedding solution.. and there are NO PLANS to make it one.. This solution is a blog "content display" integration solution. However, if one knows WordPress and Zen Cart templating and theming structures, this plugin lays the foundation for one to have Zen Cart and WOrdPress "share" some theme/template elements. See examples here: http://eyeitalia(dot)com, http://laserdiscvault(dot)com, http://ecopowerparts(dot)com, and my own web site -- see my signature.. Again.. not a topic for this support thread.. but totallly doable..
